House Of Musaak, a UK based record label just revealed in a press conference held in Novotel Manchester, how they signed their two Nigerian artists, Oral P and Adeekay in a deal worth $200k for each act. This deal makes the Label the first Nigerian record company to sign any artist with such a huge amount of money in recent time and further revealed plans on getting one of Don Jazzy’s most talented artist soon.
In a statement released by the PRO of the company Chinwe Nneka (CNN) revealed that HOM is in search of seven great talents and having already signed this duo, they are left with four slots to fill. She further expressed her love for the Mavin crew and offers to pay an undisclosed amount to the Mavin boss to get one of his most talented acts.
It’s glaring that with this move, the ‘COPY DAT’ crooners, ‘HOM’, are coming to Nigeria with a mindset of becoming the biggest recording company in the country. House of Musaak also intends to spend another $600k in less than a month in recruiting young and talented acts
The big question is, can HOM newly signed acts, ORAL P and ADEEKAY stand the test of time in the game? They have already delivered what seems to be an absolute banger in ‘Copy Dat’ and word has it that they are getting set to release their second singles in a few weeks.
They have started well and seem to be on the right track so far. Below are the beautiful songs already making waves by House Of Musaak. Enjoy
